§ D · Day rhythm The rhythm of the garden across a day
The day
as a circle.
Midnight at the top, clockwise around a full day. The outer ring is the bird activity by day, with the burst of the dawn chorus at sunrise. The inner ring is the bats at night. Where the sun sets, the birds hand over. Each ring has its own scale, and you switch by season.
- Birds by day, peak at dawn
- Bats at night
- Sun rise & set
